There are those who say: "To attain the title it is just a matter of donating money immediately." I would like to clarify that it is not a "typical celebrity’s” award where annual votes are being "lobby".
Through my personal experience during my first year of participation in 2006, when I was filing for my application, we had to take a psychological test to find out who can contribute to their business. In the second, third and fourth year, the scoring criteria were raised and it was widely publicized in the media. The criteria were the need to reflect the growth on sales numbers, profits of the business, export rate, contributions to the social community as well as the level of completion with tax obligations both in the performance of business and the owner, serious compliance with the directives on fire safety, the environment, the ability to improve working conditions and living standards for the workers, initiatives to improve as well as developing new products…these are all assessed by the City People's Committee with the participation of all the departments and branches.
People may question how I knew of certain issues of public interest concerning the Government authorities. Once during my dealings with the Fire Department in Thu Duc district, the police asked me if we received a letter from the Committee requesting information on the breach of fire safety issues. And also in another instance, while talking to a businessman, there was mentioned of a well known businessman dealing in transport service, who has been eliminated from the list at the last minute because it happened that there were two strikes on a public transport service during that year.
This year is the fourth time I received these honors, I would like to send this note of thanks to our customers, our suppliers, the government authorities, our investors and especially to all the employees of NTVN. My heartfelt thanks, for all your unfailing support and help through the years which help me attain these achievements.
