No fruit grows on the tree

All domestic and foreign guests who were invited to attend the 30th birth anniversary of Khanh Viet Corporation and received first-class Independence Medal in the coastal city of Nha Trang were full of admiration before the thoughtfulness, enthusiasm and generosity of the host KHATOCO. Everyone was cared considerately and thoughtfully when arriving at Cam Ranh airport, coming to hotel to rest and moving to the ceremony hall and having intimate dinner afterwards. I really respected the talent and enthusiasm of people in the “common home” Khatoco, specially the admiration and respect towards the “meritorious officials” here as Labor Hero Nguyen Xuan Hoang (deceased) and female incumbent CEO Nguyen Thi Tuong Anh - they guided and built a multi-disciplinary consortium going from zero, then conquering this peak to another peak.

The story “safe hands” of Uncle Ba Tao was moving and remarkably communication. Three decades ago, he used all his assets of 3kg gold for Phu Khanh tobacco enterprise as a loan without interest, not because seeing the firm will be profitable in the future, just because he saw the “heart of gold” of the leaders of that time. At that time, although the enterprise still lacked many in terms of facilities, people who were working in that hard period received much enthusiastic attention of the leaders shown in the meals and income so that they were willing to work, supporting themselves and their families.

The elder who laid the first brick to build international cooperation program of tobaco production White Horse of multinational corporation ROTHMAN in Vietnam, though old age and poor health, came to share the joy with Khatoco in this great event. The musical repertoire performances showed the meticulous staging and practice, bringing the depth of content and form, conveying a message about a complex multidisciplinary company with overflowing vitality of a collective full of aspiration to “ocean”, being well- matched with international corporations all over the world.

A 12-minute video clip just wrapped the history and transmited the concerns of the woman general when looking back on the bygones and the upcoming opportunities and challenges. Nowadays, multidisciplinary company - from manufacturing tobaco, paper packaging, printing, garments, leather, tourism and real estate - with 5,132 people and the assets up to several trillion has become one of the efficiently economic groups in Khanh Hoa.

Reflecting that, if there were no seed sower who made effort of planting, how can there be the results as today! If people who lived under the common home didn’t have solidarity and together aim to the common goal, how they could be successful. Hopefully people agree with me that, “No fruit grows on the tree”!
