Quiet in mind - peaceful in life

As usual, on weekend, I took my bag to go to the market early to prepare food for the whole family in the next week. I walked quickly to the stalls selling seafood and meat to buy fresh fish, shrimp and pork bones. Then I went by the store of vegetables for stir-fry, soup rich in fiber, vitamin A and C which is the nutrients that the human body needs.

Turning right into Market path, I added eggs and I stopped in front of a frozen stall for buying a chicken. A woman in fifties suddenly stepped up, picking a piece of chicken blood up and asked: “How much is this?”. The salesclerk with cherubic face looked up and said: “Ten thousand dong, Sis”. The buyer said gruffly: “I pay only nine thousand”. Then no need to hear the answer, she hurried to rush from the palm the crumpled bills to pay 9,000 dong. I saw she still got some 1,000 dong bills in hand.

“How much profit from selling a piece of chicken blood with such a discount!” - I expressed my sympathy before a sad moment via a shake of head and a deep breath from her. She said that she always met such some buyers everyday. She continued her work then.

The work which seems to be “daily routine” and unrelated to my work entangled me in a long time. I thought, faceing and receiving countless situations occuring in everyday life, if I always complain, whine, complain or speak up before rude attitude and tactless behavior of clumsy people, more than anyone else, I am incurring the negative emotions such as sadness, anger, irritability or unconfidence and then become a victim of stress. Knowing keep the calmness in mind in order to avoid creating bad habit “win or lose”, gradually you would receive all situations in a calm way, control your emotion to slowly resolve the situations rather than sadness, anger resulting in the worse situation. It's good, if in society, so many people, or everyone recognize that!
