GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF

After riding out the economic down turn in 2009, our Singapore investor New Toyo International Holdings Ltd (NTIH) and the Board of Management of New Toyo (Vietnam) Aluminium Paper Packaging Co., Ltd (NTVN) have finally decided to develop and expand production operations at the Industrial Zone of Linh Trung II Export Processing Zone, Thu Duc Dist. Ho Chi Minh City.

After riding out the economic down turn in 2009, our Singapore investor New Toyo International Holdings Ltd (NTIH) and the Board of Management of New Toyo (Vietnam) Aluminium Paper Packaging Co., Ltd (NTVN) have finally decided to develop and expand production operations at the Industrial Zone of Linh Trung II Export Processing Zone, Thu Duc Dist. Ho Chi Minh City.

This project of constructing a new operation office and manufacturing facilities is a perfect example of the commitment between NTIH and NTVN. The NTVN management team wasted no time; they expedited the process of obtaining the licence and land leasing agreement with Linh Trung II management and the development infrastructure company (Sepzone). In April 2010, tenders were called for contractors, design engineers and consultants which were supervised by the Company Leader to ensure that the tenders meet the criteria of transparency and compliance based on the cost and financial capacity of each contractor. 

After a rousing speech by Ms Nhan Huc Quan – General Manager of NTVN, emotions were running high despite the heat that day. At the auspicious time - 12 noon 29 May 2010, the first shovel held in the hands of Ms Nhan Huc Quan, Mr Nguyen Van Thuong, Deputy General Manager of Descon, valued clients and contractors, guests…officially marks the ground breaking for the project at Lot No. 24 of Industrial Zone in Linh Trung II EPZ.

It was all smiles, firm handshakes and congratulatory greetings all around as the first shovel marks a new phase in the history of NTVN, a subsidiary of New Toyo Group (Singapore).
