Motivational factors

In the role and position of a leader or business owner, we need to know what factors will affect a person's motivation. To identify those factors, you first need to understand what motivation is.

"Motivation is the desire and willingness of people to enhance their efforts to achieve specific goals or outcomes," according to the PACE Entrepreneur.

Motivational factors often revolve issues related to human (physical and mental) life. Conducting surveys - with questions that fit the type and size of the business - will help the manager or entrepreneur to know the employee's willingness (based on the principle of 20/80 to choose the most accepted solutions), which is the basis for the strategic planning of human resource management in each period of enterprise development.

The results of the survey in the middle of April, 2017 helped me to know some of the legitimate expectations of my management team. There are seven main factors that motivate people to work better and more effectively:

1. Working conditions and Environment.

2. Compensation policies and regimes.

3. Opportunities for learning and promotion.

4. Corporate culture (relationships between superiors and subordinates, and between colleagues).

5. Self-control rights in work.

6. Reputation and brand of the product.

7. Vision, mission and development strategy of the business.

Enterprises that want to develop stably and sustainably need to know the aspirations of employees in these seven factors. By being spiritually fulfilled, the employees will work intensively, resulting in a number of innovative technical innovations as well as processes and systems, practicing thrift in production, improving labor productivity and working performance of machinery and equipment.

However, in order to make motivational factors of the company (from the outside) really work, it is necessary to have a very important factor - motivation from inside the employees. The seniors have the sentence "A flow will have an ebb" means that no one can be sure that his career path is just favorable. Any change in structure, size or form of operation of a business will have a direct impact on its role, position, work, and more importantly - which can significantly change the income of the employee. If there is no love for work, one will be easily "shaken" before the objective reality.

Job satisfaction is the greatest motivation for people to maintain and develop their job. If people have a passion for their work, the objective changes, difficulties and challenges not only will not negatively affect them but also help them become stronger, more mature on the path to the goals of their life. Every business needs such people - motivated people from within.
