Tidiness is a habit that needs to be taught and formed at an early age. It starts with the neatness of arranging books and pens in a pair of early adopters, followed by a school and student desk with titles in different genres for research, reference or citation.

When you grow up, with a job position in the workplace or office, the tidiness shown in the closet, filing cabinet or desk will be an influence on morale and the productivity of each person. Even, tidiness in the workplace, in some cases, is decisive for success or failure of the career of a person. It also affects the emotions of colleagues, the people involved with that person.

Recalling a business trip between the members of the Saigon Businessmen Club and Taiwanese businessmen a year ago (in the middle of March 2014). I took the Apec card which is a visa-free one, but I still arrive at the airport to check-in before the appointment time of the delegation. I think that with the Apec card in hand, I will not have any obstacle when making the exit procedures, but the new passport does not match the old passport number shown on the card Apec so the airline staff did asked me to show two passports at a time. Look at the clock which was only 45 minutes left until the aircraft would take off. I calculated, time to go and return by taxi, in the absence of any trouble in the middle of the road, to get home to get the old passports also take one hour and a half. Everyone in the delegation was very worried for me and I also feel anxious, if unfortunately this incident that makes people "lose interest" right from the moment of departure, it will be a shame.

I told the taxi driver, "I only have one hour and a half to go and return. Fortunately, I met a skilled driver, so I was back to the airport to make timely flight with everyone in the delegation. Actually, besides being lucky enough to meet a taxi driver who was both fast and safe, another reason why I could catch up is because I did not need much time to find my old passport.

Without the habit of maintaining order, arranging things in a certain order, I would not have been able to quickly find the old passport that had not been used for a long time.

Do not underestimate the tidiness of your desk, cabinet, or wardrobe that we touch every day. A messy desk not only accuses other colleagues of the owner's negligence, but also causes tension and frustration when it comes to finding relevant documents in the mess. With tablets or digital tools, modern technology can help to "hide" negligence. But storing data in a scientific way by topic, time… will save you a lot of time. In this digital age, the value of time is sometimes not counted in money.

Maintaining tidiness is a habit that needs to be created, it will form calm, confident, and minimize the unnecessary pressure in work and life and it will help us maintaining a positive mood, emotion and energy every day.

Make a habit - better late than never.
